Marriage certificate
Welcome to the marriage certificate page. Please follow the directions. Write an application with details of your identity (Name, Father Name, Grand Father Name, Place of Birth, Date of Birth, Nationality, ID/Passport Number and complete address) and submit it to the Consulate Section after meeting the following requirements.
- Presence of Bridegroom and Bride
- Presence of the attorneys of Bridegroom and Bride
- Presence of two witnesses
- Incase the Bridegroom or Bride is not present at the time the marriage certificate is issued and he/she lives abroad, an Authorization Letter is required to be permanent in the nearest Afghanistan diplomatic mission and sent to this Embassy.
- Marriage Certificates issued from Afghanistan must be verified by Consulate Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan
- Fee of US $ 25.
